Hi! My name is Kathryn Krumrie and I live in Olathe, Kansas. I graduated from KU (Rock Chalk!!) and currently teaching my 8th year of Kindergarten. I absolutely adore the little ones and watching them grow as learners!
I have had a love for Disney since I was a baby. My first trip to Walt Disney World® Resort was when I was only 15 months old! Disney has been in my blood my whole life. For as long as I can remember, we always went to Walt Disney World® Resort for our summer vacations. I have so many memories as a child and also now as an adult. I have absolutely loved taking my husband and 1 year old to make new memories.
While attending KU, I decided to put it all on hold and apply for the Disney College Program. I was accepted and participated in the program during the Fall of 2011, working at the Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Food Court. It was the best 5 months of my life! I learned so much more about the magic of Disney and fell in love even more with the company and all things Disney. Since participating in the program, I have been going back for vacations and races 4-5 times a year. I am an active participant in runDisney races and have run at both Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney World® Resort.
If you know me, you know I love Disney and I’m not afraid to show it! Our dogs names are Sven and Lucky. I love wearing Spirit Jerseys, have over 100 pairs of Minnie/Mickey ears and Disney themes all throughout my kitchen. I have done numerous RunDisney races (on both coasts).
