My whole life I have lived and breathed Disney. When I was only a year old I visited Disneyland in California for the first time. I have visited several more times since. The first time my daughter ever stood on her own was at Disneyland and I hold that magical moment ever since. When I was in kindergarten my parents took a family trip by RV to Walt Disney World in Florida. We camped at the Fort Wilderness Campground and that is when my Disney bug grew even more. We have had several more family visits to Walt Disney World and the need to be there just grew more and more. By high school, I knew I had to be fully involved with Disney someway or somehow.
When I was twenty-one years old I made the decision to make the move to Orlando, Florida. I began my Disney career through the Disney College Program. After a year as an Attraction Hostess at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I signed on as a full-time Cast Member and moved forward to being an Attraction Hostess at Magic Kingdom, Attraction Coordinator at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Guest Relations in (at the time) Downtown Disney and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I was also part of the Guest Experience team for Walt Disney World. My final role was Manager Assistant to Park Operations and Entertainment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
I was with the Walt Disney Company for ten magical years. Through those years, not only was I able to meet so many people from around the world, I was able to travel to many places such as Disney Tokyo, Disneyland California, Disneyland Paris, and many more destinations through Disney Cruise Line. My biggest adventure of all was becoming a mom. I decided to become a full-time mom to my daughter, but leaving the Walt Disney Company was no easy decision. I immediately obtained an annual pass to Walt Disney World where my daughter and I visited weekly. I have also obtained annual passes with Universal Orlando and SeaWorld. However, I am so excited to continue my partnership with Disney through Dreamers Do Travels. Some of my best memories in life are with Disney and on all my worldly travels.
