“Fun!” It’s my favorite. I think everyone needs a little or a lot of fun in their lives every day. My friends even call me the “Fun Pusher” because I am always setting up events, planning girls’ trips or inviting them to a million activities. It’s what keeps me going and focused! Fun! What is the epitome of fun? In my eyes, it is Disney and traveling! Hands-down.
My obsession all started when I was young. Growing up, we would always travel to Walt Disney World during my birthday, which is right in the middle of our freezing cold Pittsburgh winters. I thought it was the most wonderful thing. I got to miss school and be in the most magical place on Earth! Sunshine and good times were had by all!
As I continued to get older, the tradition and fun continued. We still go together even now and bring all of our own families, taking as many as twenty people! We are able to go every two years. We all look forward to it and can’t wait to check out the newest ride or attraction, which ultimately then becomes our favorite.
The thing about Disney is that it brings up feelings and emotions that are almost impossible to recreate. Disney and all of the experiences they provide are like stories that are so perfectly executed in every single way. You can smell the scents, you can hear the music, you can see the magic and you can feel the excitement all around you. This is true for all of the properties, parks, adventures and cruise ships as well. Disney’s attention to detail is astounding and everything is to the nines!
Disney definitely holds a special place in my heart.
