Disney is responsible for some of my earliest memories. I was exposed to Cinderella, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast at a very early age and my room was covered in Ariel décor. Because we had extended family in Florida, we spent many Christmases on the beach and more often than not, we would make the drive across the state to the happiest place on earth.
As I grew older, I still tried to maintain the lessons, dreams and yearnings I had seen in so many fairytales. Just as Cinderella struggled and suffered, I did as well and soon began to give up my hopes and dreams. I didn’t believe they were meant for me anymore. But this was not the end of my story.
Through hard work and perseverance, I was finally able to achieve my dream of purchasing my first home. And I was able to have a little fun along the way as well. In addition to being a local actress, my best friend and I perform as multiple princesses and fairytale characters for birthday parties, fundraisers and other charity events. We help keep the magic alive, mostly as Elsa and Anna, and seeing the looks on the kids’ faces is a dream come true.
